About the Sučany Alumni Staff Award
The Sučany Alumni Staff Award is aimed at all those staff members of the Milan Hodža Bilingual Grammar School in Sučany who are trying to do more than what is required of them. Throughout the academic year, the nominees should prove that that they have been doing more than what the standard duties of a staff member of a Slovak grammar school include. They should, for example, show a proactive interest in the affairs of the student, teacher (employee), or school communities. For example, a viable candidate for this award helps not only themselves, but their colleagues and students as well, especially outside of their working hours. Various duties which the nominee selflessly undertook, as well as participation in various school and extracurricular projects or clubs may constitute some of the reasons for granting the Award. Other reasons may include such charitable, humanitarian, or community help given to others outside of school that enriches students and colleagues. The winner is awarded a 200€ cash prize.
